I'm Paul from the US in Wisconsin just west of Milwaukee. Started brewing extract kits on the stove in a 5 gal. kettle about 6 months ago. Got a bayou burner and thought I would try BIAB. I saw a youtube demo after which I did some searching and ended up here. My wife teaches sewing so the bag will be free if I can live with pink. I work in the Environmental Health field. Here is hoping to learn from the group.
Welcome aboard Paul

.
There are so many things going for you Paul - Milwauke, your wife and BIAB... when will it end?
If you learn nothing else from the group, you can learn how to play Cheesetradamus run by your fellow statesman

. There actually lots to learn here, one of the main things can be keeping you on a clear path. For example, there are lots of BIAB videos out there that actually are not BIAB

. Post a link and we can check it out.

Hullo,
I'm from Yorkshire, UK, but i'm currently living in Wellington, NZ.
I've done one partial mash brew so far, my next is going to be an all grain BIAB brew. I'm thinking of doing a SMaSH.
I'm doing small scale brews (11 litre) as money and space are a bit tight.
I love hoppy beers, and can't wait to start making my own.
Welcome to you as well Ed

And, living in NZ - they have some great hops there suited to hop-driven beers. A Pom living among the Kiwis opens up a whole new range of possibilities

. East Kent Goldings with Nelson Sauvin???
Anyway, if possible, post your recipe plan up here before you brew so as someone can double-check it for you. 11 litres can be a really sensible way to go and will often allow you to brew more beer due to it being so much easier to do more often.
