The last Regular week in the Season is Dec. 30th The game has been moved from 12 noon to 3:30pm because of it's importance. I have changed the website to only show "??" rather than your picks to keep the leader from matching the second place persons picks to ensure his or her victory!

The average of all peoples picks are still shown when you edit your picks so this will help some. I will add a help page later in the week. So for those of you who know little about football you can refer to the help or just use the other games as a guide. The past games are accessible by clicking on the list of games on the left of the page.

My wife's Aunt passed away Dec. 23rd so I have to travel out of town for the funeral Dec. 26th. The help will appear about the 27th?? Give or take a day or two. Merry Christmas!

The Packers are going to be in the elimination type post season. We will play a short post season contest for a prize so don't stop now. Good luck

BIABCheeses !!!! I love it!

Each team has two groups (Offensive and Defensive) One team has it's offense on the field and the other has it's defense on the field (pitch). So those stats show how good the offense is and the defense for each team!

PP don't worry about 3rd down. Look for points scored and points given up. Look for rushing and stopping the rush. Same with passing. That is half the questions each week!

I am back from the funeral! We saw a lot of my wife's cousins and their families and it brought back memories of their youth! However "Did they get old" My wife and I looked the same but they all got older! We all vowed to get together again soon. Looking around at the 90+ year old ladies. It will happen soon! If we ever run out of old ladies we will have to start with us!

I hope the contest will not over tax your brains. Next week we will start the playoff's (elimination round). We won't know the order or who will compete until Monday so I will try to lock the page until we get the dates and who is playing. If the Packers win this Sunday they will have a week off and I will pick two other teams to keep us active!

Bob, glad to hear the funeral was fun .

I started listening to the mp3 above and then realised the bloody thing goes for an hour. That's time I need to spend studying my picks!

Which bits of the podcast should I listen to? In other words, where do we find the bits with you in it?

I think he meant the overall Packers madness. I skipped through it and didn't here his slurred speech anywhere.

The slurred speech usually goes on for at least 5 mins Lylo. Did you check every 5 mins of the mp3?

I was only in the podcast in spirit. It was a podcast showing the uniqueness of the Packers. Small town owning a billion dollar sports team. Hey, the BBC went to a town of 100,000 people to create a story about how it competes against cities of 14 million people. Very proud of that!

It was a good funeral. When they gave a few speeches at the luncheon afterwords Christmas music was playing in the background. I drank a martini in Rosemary's honor. (she was a martini drinker) My wife caught up on gossip and the guys chugged drinks until the (free) open bar closed. The drinking trailed off when we had to pay for it!

Good luck to everyone in the last game in the second half. Winners will be posted! The elimination round begins next week but we don't know who will play who until the night game is over. So next weeks game will be closed to adding picks until Monday when we know who is playing next Sunday or Saturday???? Watch for it!

I see Yeasty has done what I was going to do - copy the scores of the last Packers/Viking game . Lylo has obviously bribed Bob to get hold of my excellent picks and then changed a few numbers so it wasn't so obvious . I can't tell what Bob and mally are up to mainly because I only understand what two of the eight pick numbers actually mean .

At the moment it is 13 to Vikings and 0 to the Packers . This happened the last time they played in the afternoon. I think they all must start drinking at lunch time or something .

The first playoff game is Saturday January 5th at 7PM Wisconsin time. The Packers play in Green Bay against the Vikings. The same team that just beat us last night. We had beaten them 5 times in a row but last night it was win or the season is over for them. It sucks having to play the same team two weeks in a row but that's how the stars aligned us.

The game was tied with seconds left on the clock. The Vikings kicked it through the goal posts as time expired. It is a classic game that will be talked about for years! We came up with the dirty end of the stick!

If the Packers lose Saturday the season is over but we will keep Cheese going until the Superbowl!

After the Superbowl prizes will be shipped out "If the addresses of the winners are in their profile"?

So "Rush Yards per game" is the average of our offense running with the ball measured in yards. The "Rush yards per game allowed" is the average of their teams defense gives up trying to stop the other teams offense.
