yes it was a good day. Lots of different styles of beer to try, and some laughs. Im happy the missus picked me up from the sail when she did, I reckon things were well on their way to getting messy :drink:

Thanks for everyone that bought along their beers to taste, its great to compare others beers and also try different styles.

Pat, I hope the house wasn't destroyed like it was on our brew day visit :luck:

House was fine Stu and you could have lasted heaps longer for sure ;).

I'd forgotten how confusing setting up triangle tasting is... Jug A, Jug B, Cup A, Cup B Cup C. Jug A into B for him but jug B into C for so and so etc...  .

I wonder if Skippy decided to do a 25 km walk??? :smoke:

Well I've had to work about 5 Saturdays this year and it's been shit luck that 2 of them have fallen on the 2 days this experiment/tasting were run over. Thanks for the invite though PP. I'll have a beer with you guys one of these days.

Looks like we're at Stu's* next :salute:. (Don't bring your wife Lucas  :P)

Hippy, I was going to say drop in here anytime but my dispensing fridge started blowing my fuse last night. Runs for about three minutes and then, boom, all my powers gone so my beer is sitting in the fridge getting warmer and warmer . (The Hop Hogs are cold though so drop in if you are happy only tasting them.)

:peace:
PP

* He's got a lot on over the next few weeks so it might be a while before he can even think about organising things. (Don't do a brew day Stu - drinks only!!!)

Well guys happened to catch up with Stu ( Aces High ) today as he and his wife dropped by to pick up a POR rhizome and a bag of Sodium Percarb. He gave me a six pack of the hop hog as payment for the rhizome , which I thought was most generous of him, thanks Stu :drink:
They were half Chill and half no chill and to give my two cents, I reckon the NC is definately a touch more bitter. I also think the chilled version has a slightly crisper finish. Either way it's a lovely beer and I'll be hitting you up for the recipe. :peace:

Always good to meet a fellow brewer. Thanks for the brewery tour, youve got a good set up there.

Glad you liked the beer, it just goes to show how much you can abuse a beer and it can still turn out tasty.

Still working on that brewday or drinking day. Got the Mrs' birthday coming up in october so I am building up stocks for that at the moment.
