Hi folks,
1. Where are you from? Peter from Ireland
2. How did you stumble across the site? good oul googling
3. What you think of it so far? very helpful,
4. Have you brewed at all before. If so, for how long and what method are you currently using? planning my first BIAB in coming days, after 1 yr of kits & 2 extracts (beer = clean, heat, dilute, mix & wait, wait more & then some, then ahhhhh), works every time, still impressed how easy it is, now want to improve/fine tune
5. Do you work? Are you retired or maybe you run a household?

Thanks for all help and (amalgamated years of) advice, hints, tips, etc on the site

1. Currently live in Little Rock, AR
2. Browsing for all grain brewing methods to get out of extract
3. Looks promising so far
4. Currently doing extract brewing and have 13 brews under my belt, finally tired of not being able to customize as much as i want so looking to expand without buying all the equipment

Good Day Adeering, Welcome. BIAB is the best way to leave Extract or Kits, and Move on to All-Grain!
If you have a good size Kettle(about the size of your batch or larger) look into the Commentary http://www.biabrewer.info/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=190 and check out the Master Guide http://www.biabrewer.info/viewforum.php?f=25

Hello Everyone,
I live in Chicago, Illinois USA and just started brewing 3 months ago. I made a few extract batches with the intention of moving to all-grain in 2012. Thanks to the BIAB method, I was able to achieve that goal by early January. I've made 3 BIAB batches so far and I think this is the brewing method for me. I came to this site because it looks like the best source of information on converting recipes to BIAB.

Cheers!

Hi all,

Long serving ale drinker from Essex, UK. I recently got a brewing course as a birthday present and thought I'd best get a couple of brews under my belt before I attend. Of course I'll share all I learn :)

Hi all! I am attempting my first brew in a bag this weekend and have been reading this site to figure out how to do it. I have been doing extract brewing for a year in a small apartment in Washington DC and am excited to try this method to do all grain. Thanks for all the info so far!

Hello from Alaska. Just starting to investigate the BIAB method. Have done extract and partial grain methods. Moved to a smaller home and I have less space and thought this moght be a way to be more space efficient.

Good Day SubSailor, Welcome! BIAB is one Kettle, a bag, and a sink.
Small Batches can be done on a stove/Hotplate. About 3 feet of a kitchen counter for 4-5 hours is all that is needed.
It is a lot like Partial mashes....Just more grain and a bigger bag.

If you have questions, Let us know and we will help!
