Cooking with beer

Post #1 made 7 years ago
I had my first ever bad brewday (Premature Mashout). The FG is at 7.6 °Brix after two weeks in the fermenter and am looking at about a 3% ABV.

I'm planning on kegging it all and see if this will make an enjoyable drink and if anything else just cook with it. Anybody have any input?

Well well, much to my surprise my beer finished nicely. My 2L flask finished at 3 °Brix and one of my two fermenters finished at 3.7.

I have a 5.9% beer. ;)

Good for you! Glad it worked out.

It's often not as bad as it seems. We have to listen to Charlie P's advice of "Relax, Don't Worry, and Have a Homebrew"...or something like that. ;)
