The first half ended with the Packers leading 21 to 13. The Pack was unstoppable for the first quarter and part of the second. The 21 to 3 score was really wonderful but as expected the momentum shifted to the rusty Cowboys. The game will be a nail biter. The Packers had a lot pf players hurt and the Cowboys had all 46 players without injury. The Packers get the ball to start the second half. The first position will tell the tale of how the game goes!


The second half was about as exciting as you could want. I didn't want it. The short of it is. Dallas tied it up with a field goal and left 35 seconds on the clock. Aaron and the boys crossed the field and kicked another field goal to end the game. Packers win 34 to 31

It was a super "instant classic". Years from now they will be replaying the game on the NFL channel. Luckily I probably will have forgotten the outcome. Bad memories have their uses? :think:

The Hawks are in the middle of a dynasty. With all the Wisconsin folk (Schneider, Bevel, Wilson and more) You will be back on the horse next July! Good luck!

The Packer offense was playing fairly well. Unfortunately the defense was about a bad as you could imagine. 24 to zero at halftime. The game wasn't as close as the score indicated.
Well that sucked. Packers were never in the game. They were dominated for 60 minutes. A great year down the drain! 44 to 21 loss and we are out of the running. Better luck next year?

I still can't believe I stayed up late last night to watch that as well :headhit: .
My first time watching the Pack, and Rodgers looked like a scared little schoolboy.
Maybe I am being too critical and should say how well Ryan & Jones played?

The game unfolded exactly as I had imagined. With the exception of having the teams names reversed. The Packers won eight games in a row and averaged somewhere between spectacular and brilliant. This game was a unmitigated disaster. I am sorry for putting you through this game. The defense could not stop anybody. Granted we were starting our fourth choice as our number one pass defender. We also had 15 players on injured reserve and lost 5 players during the game. We had a *M*A*S*H* unit for a wide receiver corps.

The team may not want to use injuries for an excuse but I do! Better luck next year. As usual. Now that we finished in the last four teams we will draft 29th out of 32 clubs.The curse of being good but not good enough! Oh well. A lot of teams would give their right arm just to get a sniff of the playoffs. We sniffed it eight years in a row!

Aaron Rodgers was beaten up a lot Sunday. Some of the hits were really hard, I think that took a toll on him?  The whole state of Wisconsin and Packer Nation is in morning. I hope the Super Bowl is a good game. I will root for the Falcons as they have never won it before and the Patriots have won it plenty of times. Thanks again for your support Mally! The last Cheese is February 5th Good luck to you. Get 30 points! :pray:

Well when you explain it like that it seems more like I am being too critical :sneak:

I was impressed with Jordy though, played well for a man with broken ribs (and a kevlar vest).

Mally you are not being too critical. I am reading the online sports pages and they are roasting the Packers and the coaches. :peace: 
Mally if you want? listen to these guys and save the link for next year. These guys are incredible. I listen to them every week but you might need a interpreter because they have a Irish and British accents. :lol:  These guys know their stuff.  I have to go now. I have another online Packer chat coming up in 15 minutes and I have to take the dog out first!

I agree. I am more worried about my waistline than I am about anything else. The Super Bowl is now the biggest food orientated event of the year. Thanksgiving is the second most and actually that's a football day too! Beer, food and football! Life is good! :argh:

[font=Arial]The game looked like another Atlanta blow out. The Packers game all over again. But the Patriots made a amazing comeback and tied the game with seconds left in regulation. Thus began the first overtime game in Superbowl history. The Patriots won the coin flip and took the ball into the end zone to complete the most amazing comeback in super bowl history.

I did make out like a bandit this year. Saving on postage means more money to buy cheap prizes for next season. You had a good year too! Quality job picking this year. I (of course) stunk! I do bask in the knowledge that my 9, 10 and 12 year old grand-daughters out scored me (again) this year! They are brilliant. They insist on doing it themselves. Maybe I should ask them for help? :lol:

I think Ron is the first BIAB brewer US member to win Cheese, except Bob (I think?) last year but he was going through a cheating phase :)
