The Mighty Packers were victims of the mystique of New Orleans. The Packers failed to play up to the standards we expect. It all started when the Packers tried to get Peppers a receiving TD. We could not stop the run and we couldn’t protect our quarterback. Aaron tweaked a hamstring and the receivers didn't finish their routes and caused Aaron to throw two interceptions. McCarthy tried some trickery and failed each time. Everyone was at fault. Saints deserved to win. The Packers didn't!

To tired and to disappointed to do this right. I hope to fix it tomorrow?

Something like that! The losing team passes wildly to try and catch up. Passing is the quickest way to score points. Actually it was expected to be a "shoot out" and we delivered on that. But I would gladly trade a few (or a lot) of yards for some points. You don't win with yards. You win with points!

You are correct! It's just to keep everyone's hands close to the fire. It also is the last game of the first half so it pays to score high next week. Of course we don't follow those teams but I researched them and put up the averages for everyone to use. Six teams are resting next week. The BYE week is just a week's Holiday. A chance to catch up on injures and aches and pains.

You are doing great! I wish I knew as much about football as you!

The comparison charts are screen captured from the game information at the NFL schedule page. So it should be accurate. The Sunday (normally) information that comes up is the stats before the Sunday game is played. I have to wait until Monday to replace the chart with the addition of the Sunday game. So what I am saying is that Mondays chart will be more accurate.

As you know I will start (really trying) Starting Sunday. I think I have been fair in letting you mere mortals get a head start. I am so magnanimous.

Bye the way (oh, sorry, BTW) Next weeks game (Philadelphia Eagles) has been (flexed) from a noon (12:00) start to a late afternoon start (3:25 CST) It has been moved to be a nationally broadcast game.
