I discovered this new product that looks like it'll be PERFECT for the nerdy home brewer (aren't we all nerdy!?)

I've backed it cos it looks great, I have an iPhone and I'm always keen to try out new technology.

I'm looking to do something similar with a raspberry pi and some other bits of available hardware as this shouldn't be rocket science..darren131 wrote:Oh, rad! While looking around Kickstarted I also discovered this badboy!

BrewPi only seems to control the fermentation stage.
I'm looking at more of a control for the brew process itself of an electric element, with alarms/reminders etc for brew stages and data logging back to a USB key making it all stand alone.
It's a simplified PID algorithm as I'm not that clever when it comes to writing differential controls in python ..!!
