HELP- MAXI BIAB RECIPIES WANTED

Post #1 made 12 years ago
HI

I have been an extract brewer for a few years and have dabbled in mini mashes. I have decided to make the next big step and go all grain in the form of BIAB.

Im going to use Ralphs Maxi BIAB method, however I'm getting really confused finding a recipe that would suit a Maxi BIAB.

I have the Big W 19L stockpot

Is there a good calculator that converts batch sizes to suit a Maxi?

I was wondering if people could post a few MAXI BIAB recipes as it would help me lots with my first batch and Im sure others would benefit.

Cheers

Nick

Jarvo - Any high integrity recipe can be converted to maxi BIAB, and more importantly scaled to suit any volume & setup. Just use the BIABacus for your recipe and change parameters to suit your setup/procedure.

There are a few recipes to choose from, the BIABrewer standard is this one here.

NRB's Amarillo APA.
