Excited to have stumbled upon this website to improve my brewing knowledge! I've been BIAB for 2 years and have recently been learning how to improve the process for my small (19 L pot) kitchen brew system. Many of the resources I've been using have assumed a "traditional" brewing setup, so getting info specific to the BIAB method will be most helpful.

Hi everyone.
I'm from Scotland, and just stumbled across this site when doing a bit of research on biab.

I've brewed a few kits before but kind of fell out of it. Just recently got back into it after coming across the brewpi project on the internet.

I'd love to move onto biab so am spending a bit of time looking into just what's involved. This site looks great, looks like I should be able to find out everything, and more, that I need.

Hi All, I'm from Perth Ontario Canada. I have been reading about all grain for about a year and have linked to this forum many many times from other sites. I would like to learn more from the pros about single vessel brewing BIAB and No Chill. I plan to set up a system that has been discussed here by other members using a 3000 watt induction cooker and a pump for recirculating the wort.

Welcome M J. Nice to see a fellow Ontarian. I would try a brew day without the pump to start with. You may find it unnecessary. Feel free to message me if you want any local information.

Prost!

Hi, I'm Tim from North Carolina. I've done a couple biab partial mashes in my 5 gallon pot, just got a bayou classic 15.5 gallon pot and ordered a bag to fit it and hope to soon do my first full volume all grain biab. I've been playing with biabacus, it is awesome, there has been a lot of effort and time put into it. Hopefully I'll figure it out and my first full biab will go smoothly.
Thanks.

Hello all,

First, I love beer. I've brewed about 30 partial mash, 5 gallon batches over the last 18 months with results ranging from OK to excellent, with a couple of early failures, in my own humble opinion. I've brewed kits and others' recipes and developed a few of my own. I'm in the process of assembling my BIAB equipment now. I'm interested in all-grain for the obvious reasons of additional control and enthusiasm with the process. I'm interested in BIAB primarily to save time - I'm busy and like to brew weekly and it's nice to be able to brew after work and still get a good night's sleep - and secondarily to reduce equipment cost and storage requirements.

I live in Vienna, Virginia, a suburb of Washington D.C. I'm a chemical engineer and my wife is a biochemist. We brew together.

Howdy from Memphis, Tennesse, USA. I found this site three years ago when I started brewing and have come back from time to time while researching different aspects of BIAB or no chill. I just realised I have never posted to become a full member, Sorry for lurking all this time.....
I am currently in the process of upgrading my brewery to allow for 10 gallon batches while keeping everyting simple and affordable.

Cheers,
Bryan

Hello fellow Brewers!
I'm from Colorado and have recently moved to Southern California! (can't do the snow thing any longer)
I found the site in my search for THE BEST resource for successful BIAB recipes, techniques, tips-tricks and overall great banter among passionate brewers!
I love the site so far and look forward to diving in deep and reading and participating in the forums.
In 2014 I brewed 75 gallons stove-top using extract kits/recipes and now have the equipment to begin all grain using BIAB method! 8gal kettle, grain mill, BIAB bag, outdoor burner etc. I have already built a keezer and fermentation chamber with temperature control. Thanks SWMBO!
I work as a Sales Manager selling architectural glass and glazing systems. In my spare time I love to brew and golf!
I hope to someday start and run a golf men's/women's club who all also brew!
