It's really an informative and qualified forum, lots of info and nice people willing to help, great place.
4. Have you brewed at all before. If so, for how long and what method are you currently using?
Really a newbie in this world, have done threee batches, two from Kits and one E+G, i like a lot to make (and drink!) beers with friends.
My apartment is a bit small with a little garage so i'm really interested into Biab, looks to me for the perfect (and only) solution to go AG without all the headache and space requirement of three vessels.
I've done a fermentation chamber with and old Fridge and an STC1000 controller, works great, looking for a decent water boiler to E-biab in my garage, here in italy we have limited "electricity supply" (hope are the right words for what i mean), standard contracts are 220v-3,3kilowatt, next step is 4,5kw and it's a lot more expensive so i'm struggling to find a solution to do 5 gallon batch in a urn (maybe burco/buffalo 40l urn) without making an electric blackout everytime :D.
