Lee,

I hope all is going well. You must be getting close to the end of the boil or maybe you're even past that?

If you get time, take a few measurements. It's no big deal but a few measurements here and there can help nail down any problems or let you know that you are on track. BobBrews recommends the following if you get a chance...

1. Pre-boil volume and gravity (too late for that but acts as a check on the below :P)
2. End of boil volume (acts as a check on 4 and 5 below).
3. End of boil gravity (cool the sample!).
4. Volume into Fermentor - not too hard.
5. Crap left in your kettle - not too hard.
6. Gravity before pitching - not too hard (and unless you diluted, acts as a good double-check on 3 above).

You'll probably be too busy to take any more than one of the above but go for 4, 5 and 6 if you can. That will keep Lylo happy at least.

Your first AG is a momentous occasion. Hope you are having fun,
PP

Nice one Lee, great effort and if you hit your volume and OG even with a bit of dilution into the FV you did OK.

Brewing is generally a forgiving process, Biab brewing is a VERY forgiving process, :champ: :champ:

Yeasty
Why is everyone talking about "Cheese"
