Brown Ale

Hi guys...

Tried making up my own brown/porter recipe...
I think i've snagged myself on BIABacus potentially, as i partially use DME in my grain bill (wanted to use it up).

As a result, my gravity into boil was meant to be 1.030 and ended up 1.052 .
This is likely as DME is 100% efficient compared to grain?
The DME was Added post mashout / pre boil.


Here's my recipe, the colour/smells seem awesome, but its going to be a bit stronger than planned..
Please note, im still brewing as we speak, so all the data isnt there yet.

Also if u put a 'b'in the method field beside Grain Name, it will calculate the water grain absortion slightly better since it is being added after the mash and wont really absorb any water...
