   Is everyone in the province smoking instead of drinking delicious beer :)?
   
   I'm from Vancouver Island (Victoria) and would love to hear from anyone else nearby re: Homebrew clubs, great stores, websites with good shipping etc...

   BIAB Brewing in Maple Ridge!
   So far I've got 9 batches brewed, looking to knock out 2 more on my days off. I really like the BIAB method. Helps keep the equipment list to an affordable level.

   I have heard of the Beau's thing in the past years. They offer a round trip bus service from Ottawa which is very convenient it just getting the clearance from the wife :)
   I wasn't aware there was a comp. That would be cool

   I've shopped from a couple of those and OBK is hands down the best. OBK also has a loyalty program going. Toronto Brewing has screwed up my last 2 orders and I will only order from them again if I really need to.

   C'mon Canucks,where are you.Lets trade some local info re: supplies and the state of hockey in the frozen north.Maybe we could develop some recipes for some snowblower beer!

   Well Bob, I brewed 46 litres of what was supposed to be a Irish Strong Ale. My OG was 1068 though so I think I fell a little short of what the style calls for. All well.
   
   I took about 20 litres of that and eised (iced?) it down to about 10 litres. Its pretty tasty already. I'm going to let it age for a while then I'll bottle everything up.
