      BIAB & answers to all my questions
      If you have never brewed before, (like me) then all the terminology can be a little daunting.
      
      To start with, BIAB is quite forgiving, as long as your equipment is clean and sterile and you follow basic rules the end result stand a great chance of being very drinkable. (i must thanks all those who answered helped me get past the first hurdle)
      
      For the first brew, find a tried and tested, 'HIGH INTEGRITY' recipe
      Look through the forums, find a recipe that...

      I have just brewed this, i dont know how to fit this into the biabacus so i guestimated. I have a 70 liter boiler and started with 33ltrs of water.
      
      Its just come out of the fermenter and i am really impressed.
      
      60 minute mash,@ 65c then 90 minute boil.
      
      5100g Pale Malt
      180g Vienna Malt
      
      Amarillo 6g @ 75 mins from end of boil
      Centennial 14g @ 75 mins from end of boil
      Chinook 8g @ 75 mins from end of boil
      
      Amarillo 6g @ 45 mins from end of boil
      Centennial 13g @ 45 mins from end of boil
      Chinook...

      Change the kettle dimensions in section B to match your boiler. Also the VIF to suit your needs.
      
      Fill in the AA% Alpha acid of the hops you are using in section D.

   3. Great Tried and Tested BIAB recipes

      Hi ALL,
      
      I am new to BIAB brewing and have purchased a 70ltr kettle and a 30 Ltr fermenter, and turned an old fridge into a kegerator.
      
      My first 2 brews were OK but not great. I understand the Biabacus quite well now and have brewed using it, (as long as all the information is in it)
      
      So I ask kindly for recipes, anything tried and tested, please avoid the dark beers not really my taste, but IPA, APA, hoppy crisp beers, maybe even a lager for the wife!!

      I'm just going to lock this topic for the moment. PP is going to work with simontap off-forum for the moment as some of the things in the thread linked above are causing a few difficulties which is easy enough to happen.
