   1. 2nd BIAB attempt....I think it went better!

      Hey guys! So I finally got around to doing my second BIAB brew session. Me and a coworker decided to go in halves on a Chocolate Vanilla Porter. Essentially we took an Urca Dry Dock Vanilla Porter clone kit and added 4 oz. of chocolate nibs.
      
      Here is the recipe:
      MASH INGREDIENTS
      
      4.25 lbs English Maris Otter
      4.25 lbs Rahr 2-row Pale
      0.875 lbs English Medium Crystal
      0.75 lbs Flaked Barley
      0.5 lbs English Chocolate Malt
      0.5 lbs Belgian Aromatic Malt
      0.5 lbs Belgian Special B
      0.25 lbs English...

   2. First time BIAB, what did I do wrong?

      Good morning guys!
      
      So I finally took the plunge last night and decided to use all of the little projects I've been working on for the last month.
      
      This recipe is a first for several elements of the process for me. I have converted an old keg to a brew kettle with a spigot as well as purchased a new burner for it. I constructed a counter-flow wort chiller (Kegs don't fit in the sink ;) ) The last addition is a stir plate so that I can make a yeast starter.

      I feel your pain K. I tried to pull off the same feat as you a couple of weeks ago! New equipment; first AG but I added my first lager to the mix as well. My problems weren't with volumes but efficiencies. We'll get thru this together Brother!
