Those diagrams seem a little confusing to me since in my country I use 230V, single phase... Only Live, neutral, earth....

As for contacting the guy, if you read post #7 in the link you posted, you'll see it might not be a very good idea.

I've started building my own electric BIAB equipment and I want to add a PID temperature controller on it. I could use some advice wiring wise...
