      Right !! This was going to be a first BIAB Brewday extravaganza. I have taken loads of photos and have taken notes all the way through the process.
      
      However, it's all gone a bit Pete Tong !!!
      None of the hydrometer readings make sense. Let me start from the beginning and talk you helpfull individuals through my day.
      
      0800: Boiler, with 32 litres of Camden treated water, switched on
      
      0920: Doughed in 4250g of pale and 30g of Black (no dough balls) @ 70degC. Temp dropped to 67degC (target)....

      After the drama and disappointment of BIAB #1, I can report that I am now a happy bunny !! :party:
      
      Throughout the brewday I was as pedantic as I am at work, and the results were close to what was expected. I did find that my evaporation rate didn't concur with the Calculator. I had more in my boiler at a lower OG than expected (1.046 instead of 1.048)but I am very happy with the results. I got 21 litres into the FV.
      
      Todays figures show where I went wrong last time. So lessons learnt.

      Well done BOC, this method really is easy and gives consistent results once you come to grips with it.
      
      As BBH said above, 1046, meh! Just a bit more beer to bottle or keg.
