      Previously moved from a fridge setup to a freezer and have brewed my first beers of the year. Finally get to sample the finest from kings brewery lol. Cheers! Gunna be a good Arvo sampling the nectar of the gods.

   2. Aroma hops when no chilling

      Been playing around a bit lately in regards to hop schedule when no chilling. The 20 min later rule seems to be working wonderfully. But I'm having trouble working out aroma addition.
      Here's my recipe and hop schedule
      
      American pale ale
      Pilsner 4.5 kg
      Wheat malt 0.660
      Cara hell 0.160
      
      Hops
      15g Magnum @ 70min
      
      Cascade 10gm @0min
      Tettnang 5th @0min
      
      I usually wait for everything to settle 5 mins
      Then whirlpool and wait another 5 mins before no chilling to reduce trub.
      
      My aroma hops are
      13 gm...

   3. Any Port drinkers here

      I recently got a port keg for my birthday and aging some brown brothers top up tawny port. It's great to sip between home brewed beers while chugging on a wee willam cigar. It holds 20 litres. The diffence in taste even after 6 months of aging is remarkable. Anyone else here into port?

      After a few months with my port keg I'm having a wonderful time sipping between beers. There's 2 problems I don't like however and that is 1. Angels share ( where there is slight evaporation of the keg some the apparently the port angels get) the positive is a slightly higher alcohol blend. Which is fair enough I suppose.
      But the other reason is it costs a bit to upsize your pants and shorts when you go up a size in a weight department.

   4. Coles ultra booster plus

      I use pbw to clean but know a lot of people use napisan to clean there gear. I have used napisan before but found this stuff and was wondering if anyone uses this as it was cheaper.
      Its Coles ultra booster plus. Doesn't say anywhere That its scented but its gotta fairly strong smell.

      Just an update on this, been using this Coles ultra booster without any problem at all. Even removes the faint wort smell from no chill cube that was still around when napisan was used.
      And for the price $2.70 I'll continue to use this for a long time.
      P.s i always follow up with starsan.
