To rephrase the original question again- could you reuse dry hops for bittering on the next batch, just like Bob does with the spent hop tea hop?

If so, would they still work for FWH or only for traditional bittering?

If you are concerned about plastics, one of the best solutions for no-chill is a Sanke 1/6 barrel with the spear removed and capped with a tri clover clamp/cover. I've also used this method with a 1/4 barrel, but I'm unsure of the long term stability given the headspace over a normal 5-6 gallon batch.
