Thanks for the informative forum. I have never brewed BIAB, but am very interested in trying it. I really appreciate the simplification of the brewing process and equipment. However, even now some specialized equipment is required (such as the large bag), plus the step of lifting the bag out seems a bit awkward and unwieldy.
I wonder if you can modify this concept to use not just one large bag, but dividing the grain bill into smaller bags, kind of like one does with steeping grains in an...

You'll find that lifting the bag isn't as hard or messy as it sounds wam on a 'normal' batch size. I've actually hand-lifted double batches several times.
Like the others above, I can see heaps of inconveniences and potential problems with multiple bags so my advice would be unequivocally, use a single bag.
Watching this video at 3 mins 30 secs will give you a better idea of how easy it is.
