      Cowbrau Heifer Weizen, bottled two weeks. Tastes amazing, I'd put it up against any commercial wheat and rate it even or higher. First time using BIAB and no chill. Combine that with obsessive/compulsive sanitation, medical grade O2 aeration and real wort starter on a stir plate overnight, ferm temp control and it's one of the best batches of beer I've brewed in 24 years of brewing.
      
      As good as this wheat is, the Kolsch, also two weeks bottled, is even better. Smooth with a hint of fruitiness...

   2. My eBIAB set up

      Still finishing up the brew space, but hoping to run the first batch through next weekend. I'll be putting in a march pump to re-circulate. There are two bath vents above the keggle. If there's too much condensation, I'll just take the grills off and rig up a hood. I got the controls from Brewmation. The electrical outlets all look pretty ghetto, but they work and they're safe.
      
      There'll be tub sink with a water filter to the left of the brew stand. Have a couple winpaks crying out to be...

   3. First eBIAB breakdown

      I think I had way too many firsts last Sunday. First brew in the new brewspace, first use of a new eBIAB keggle, first batch brewed on an electrical system period, first use of a new grain mill (Millars mill…ehhh) first time BIAB brewing, first wheat beer, first no chill. It was a very odd brew day.
      
      Recipe: Simple Wheat
      6 pounds Rahr 2 row
      5 pounds Wheat
      .75 oz Hallertau 45 minutes
      .25 oz Hallertau 10 minutes
      1 whirlfloc tablet 15 minutes
      Munich dry yeast rehydrated
      
      Mash at 153 - 60 minutes...

      I don't brew with electricity, so can't help you on the flakes, but if they are coming off then it shouldn't be a problem.
      
      I don't like or brew wheat beers, so can't answer your question on wort smell either. Not really being much help am I?
      
      Nice to have mates with bigger tools :) than yours and mates that will build a brew room for you. Top stuff.
