Large Grain differance from original recipe.

I'm trying to add a recipe from the book Modern Homebrew Recipes by Gordon Strong and I've noticed a large differance in the total grain bill once the grain is entered into BIABacus.....yet only a 2 litre difference in VAW. The recipe is the Galaxy Pale Ale and the total grain bill is 5967g for a VA...
