Thank you @goulaigan and @PistolPatch (I've read many of your posts); I may go with the starter after all or even the dry US-05. I'm still working on acquiring my materials for a DIY stir plate so I will probably just go with the shake it when I walk by starter. Haven't used dry yet and sounds easy....
