Players,
The Packers had the game won but let it slip away in the last minutes to end up in a tie. They lost the flip of the coin and the Sea-Hawks took it in for a touchdown and sent the Packers packing! One of the most depressing losses of the century. They had the game won and blew it! I love them but they had the game won and they blew it! :idiot:

P.S. They blew it!

Sorry I didn't play this year. Now I'm too sad. It was a day of mourning here in Hudson, WI. T.V. recording stopped with 5 minutes to play and it so looked like the Packers won. Then we went to the AFC game only to get the bad, sad news. :nup: :nup: :nup: Still in shock. I think I have to brew some beer tomorrow to feel better.

Post #178 made 9 years ago
QuinBrew,

We are sorry you didn't play this year too! However! Go to the site and join now! We have one game left (the SuperBowl) so you can see how easy it is to play and get on the mailing list as a reminder for next year (September 2015, we play the preseason to check for my (off Season) programming errors). The top player so far, (I am about to make my move!) is from Sweden, the second place player is from Jolly old England. Third is "Oh Canada". We need more Wisconsin players to save on prize shipping costs! Join in! :luck:
The Packer - SeaHawks game will be a football classic for years to come. How could a team be leading 19 to 7 with 2 minutes left, fall behind and then be losing, have to rally to tie the game in the last seconds, and then lose the game in overtime????? We will see this game in reruns forever like the ice-bowl! The team needs the killer instinct. It needs to play full throttle until the last whistle. That's the coaches job! I like Mike but he needs to call plays to score, not to use up time on the clock while leading!
Sorry for the rant!

Players, :luck:

The Superbowl will be the last Game of Cheesestradamus for the season. Don't forget to make your last Picks. The answers are hidden as usual for the last game. Make your picks now before you forget. Here is a link to the Superbowl site. http://www.nfl.com/superbowl/49

Remember to make sure your address is in your profile. If you get a prize? I will make sure your address is correct before they go out!

The whole world has access to the Superbowl so look for it on February 1st 2015. If it's on to late for you? Record it! The Packers should be playing but they blew the last game and were bounced out of the elimination tournament. :nup:

Thanks again for Playing. Next year will be better than ever. Bring in a few mates to play or fake as one to play twice?

Cheers! :drink:

Bob, I just notice how well that great tout "Joe Average" is doing and you haven't been including him in the results! If my math is correct as it seldom is, he/I could take the whole enchilada.
Oops swmbo just informed me that I am far from average.
I think I'll take her tape measure away!

You are far from average Lylo! Your math is usually incorrect. You still think that this <---------------> is six inches long??? I guess I will have to pay attention to Joe Average more often? If he every wins a prize I will at least save on postage!

Looking at the overall leaders on the leaderboard. Most of my kids, grand kids, my wife, sister inlaw, my Mother are all BEATING me. Along with a lot of players around the world who have never watched a American football game! :idiot:

Oh well. I still love it. One game left! Good luck! :luck:

Players,

Today is the last game of the NFL year. No excuse not to watch (or DVR it?) It's on world wide and the game should be a good one. The Packers should have been playing but they F*cked it up in overtime. The winners will get something in the mail in a few weeks. Make sure your address is understandable for a dumb shit like me. Good luck! :luck:

This is it for another season, our last chance for cheese. I will start to watch tonight and see how I go, although it is past my bedtime.

It's looking like a mid table finish for me so it could be worse (and I may finish above Bob!) :sneak:

Thanks Bob for the work you have put in again, even though I won't get the RV for first place. It's been fun as usual.

Happy Superbowl!

Players,

The winner of Cheesestradamus 2014 is Joco! Mally made a big charge in the contest but came up short! This has been a season to remember! I am very proud of all of you guys for sticking with me while I was out on (Nursing duty) My wife has two new knees and I have friends that played it out to the end. I am sorry for any mistakes or oversights I have made or anything to offend anyone? International etiquette is beyond me. Just because you didn't finish first does not mean you won't get a prize. Update your addresses?

Mally,

Sometime in the future it may happen? The Packers will only go if they play a crappy team that can't sell out? The only problem is that the Packers fans travel so well that the crappy teams get their only sellout because it's the Packer fans who fill they're stadium. I have only been to one game and it was pre-season. A friend of a friend had (died or something?) and gave tickets to my son-in-law. He took me to my first live game and they lost! I jinxed them??

goulaigan,

It was a odd call when you have "The Beast" to run the ball! In their defense. The plays that surprise us and work look brilliant! When the same call fails we wonder why did they try that stupid play???

Thanks for playing to all of you. It keeps a old man busy and out of the pubs. It also keeps the mind active trying to improve the site.

Post #192 made 9 years ago
Bob, I've got your package today! It seems though as the keys to the Winnebago must have feel off the key chain on its way over the Atlantic. I'll talk to customs tomorrow to see if they have collected them to be able to deliver the Rv themselves.

(All jokes aside, thank you Bob! I really appreciate the items as well as your dedication to the cheese-competition and your comments on this forum)

Bottled: Ruabeoir, Dry Stout, American amber, Green Bullet/Vienna SMaSH, Black Bear IPA.
Fermenting: Empty (!)
Planned: Dodeca, Laphroaig oak ale.

Joco,

Your words are kind. The Winnebago keys must have fallen off the beer bottle opener? I will start checking on the matter from this end. Thanks for playing last year. It is enjoyable to see the comments and jokes about each other. All in good clean fun. Hopefully we will win the Superbowl this up coming season. We should have done it this year!!! The Packers fired the coach who was in charge of the players that led to the last second defeat. Some other coaches left and other promoted. Big changes next season (this year). Full practice starts in late July 2015!

No keys for you either Joco . Looking forward to having a read of this thread later but from what I have scanned, you won it by a long shot Joco. Nice job .

I know I didn't play at all this season but, by any chance, did I still beat Bob?

PP,

I played for you this year. I used my Mothers old username "Grand_Busha" (she quite playing?) You earned 107 points. Sadly, you earned 1 point less than me. I scored at 108. Next year we will be back to normal so I can kick your butt as usual! (actually, I think you beat me each year?)

Regardless, congrats and good on you for running another year of Cheese   :salute: :champ:.
