Noam,

Coward! I don't see what the big deal is. I didn't have trouble telling her? Oh, and don't go home. She said a lot on things in Hebrew that sounded like swearing? Good luck!!

swamproad,

I may be not brewing Saturday. I will just record the event for YouTube? My recent fall on the ice has caused problems with balance and I don't think it would be safe! You and your son will have to carry the BIAB banner! See you there! I hope?

Jon would gladly help you with brewing. All you would have to do is supervise. I decided to do a 8 gal batch of Fat Squirrel clone. Think Jon is doing a 10 gal batch of his Munich SMASH.

swamproad,

Thanks for the generous offer. I will brew another "Fish Pee" for tradition sake. 8 pounds total weight (3.6 Kilo). I will tough it out! You two guys will be busy enough picking on each other! I will pick on you too! See you there. I will be the one with Gripons on my boots and a Packer helmet on my head. (maybe a pillow tied around my butt?)

All,

Here is a link to Gary Glass talking about the National Homebrewers Conference (NHC) 3400 home brewers. :argh: The biggest turn out yet. Last year it was 1800 brewers.

The venue for the 2014 NHC is Grand Rapids Mi.

http://traffic.libsyn.com/basicbrewing/ ... snhc13.mp3

The last part of the interview is about homebrew legislation in the last two stated not to legalize home brewing. You can skip it if you don't live there? :nup:

mally,

Start saving! It will probably be the cheapest city to go to in years? What a blowout that would be? Maybe if you win the prize money in Cheesestradamus?? I have never been to Grand Rapids Michigan before. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Rapids,_Michigan

Joshua,

I will be entering a (diary - blog??) here each day. I have a lot of friends going this year. Most of them I have never met! I hope they are not cheapskates or expect me to pay for my meals? Maybe I should start my beer diet again? I have a unlimited and free non stop bar for three days! :drink: :drink: Lets just hope that I make it there safely?

Having a fun night swatting Michigan's state bird. The Mosquito! The bugs bite but they fall off me quickly! To much alcohol in my blood system. Or is it to little blood in my alcohol system?

OK! I’ll admit it! It’s 12:10 and the last party goes until two AM and I am back in my room! But I have an excuse. I haven’t slept in eleven zillion hours (there about’s)? I left Lansing Michigan and drove 11 hours and arrived in Philadelphia at rush hour. Which is a oxymoron because we traveled about ZERO miles an hour on the EXPRESS way for a hour? I was passed by my shadow, twice!

I then spent 45 minutes trying to get into my hotel! The 45 minutes were spent circling a group of sky scrappers wondering why my GPS said I had arrived, when I hadn’t! I found the perfect way to have some local resident point me to the proper direction. I parked my car in a Philly taxi stand and let the cab drivers tell me where to go, and they did!!!

The hotel was nice enough and the stroll to the next hotel where the convention was held was short enough to make me forget the unhappiness encountered when I found out the convention hotel was full, until the thunder and lightning began. Who knew that you could get totally soaked in two seconds?

I went out with the crew from Basic Brewing Radio for lunch! I had a Philly cheesesstake. Surprise! Very good but since I am from Wisconsin I had provolone rather than cheese wiz! It’s not cheese, surprise!

I met the winner of Cheesestradamus! He thanked me for the first place prize. A lake home in Switzerland. Play this year and maybe you will win a lot next to him? I also met some face book friends and members of my brew club!

The acoustics in the hall were bad and you had to shout! We made ourselves heard but it was a nuisance. The high metal ceiling was made to annoy me and it did! The largest group of home brewers in world history! 3400+

The dignitaries were all on stage getting their just accolades for a job well done. I was privilege to be on the stage with them. However it was because people were tripping over me so they laid me out there? Hey, I was on stage! I am going to bed I am getting woozy.

More tomorrow! Sorry for the weak narrative but I am whipped!

Pace yourself dude, don't peak too early and make sure you convert at least one 3V idiot to Biab
