Hi, can anyone give me a tried and trusted TTL recipe that they'd swear by? I've never drank this stuff but it seems to pop up a lot on forums and be very popular. I notice there appears to be different versions of it also. I have some wyeast1469 and I'd like to try this out!
Thanks
L

Great drop and loads of great reviews.

He has done a few versions throughout the thread that goes with it but I just did the one I linked you to. If you can't see it let me know and I'll repost it here

Thanks guys, added to my tobrew list.
Question re the dark crystal. I have medium , could I just up the percentage or should I buy the dark?

Upping the percentage of medium isn't going to add the same flavor as dark. Light, medium, dark, extra dark cystals all have different flavors associated with them.Lars wrote:Thanks guys, added to my tobrew list.

Currently got my third version in the fermenter
Originally based on Smurtos landlord, with a now slightly different grainbill. It the same hopping (which is the key to he style after the yeast)

I used Graham Wheeler's recipe and it's very close to the real thing. Really nice
