Thanks Pat. Yeah, my trial of excel ran out a while ago and I will have to work with it,at home anyway.
I haven't had any trouble saving 1.2 and others in this format but will try again.No biggy right now.
I got my BM20L today and will be playing with it for a while.

Nope.Cannot open in Excel as my student trial has expired.Cannot save as xxl file and open with OpenOffice like I could with 1.2 and previous. No way I'm buying excel again!I have gotta be doing something wrong but it escapes me.
When I go "save as" I don't get the option to save as .ods. My only options are to save as MSexcel or all files. If I save as .xxl I dont get the "open with" option when I try to open it.Save as "all files is the same.

PP,sorry about all of the xxx confusion. I meant xls.
When I try to open the Biabacus from post#1 it opens in protected mode and I can't do anything with it. If I download it, I can open it with OpenOffice and save it as .ods file, then I can always open it by clicking on it, I don't have to open up OpenOffice and select it. It works fine this way and I don't give a crap about the colors,I only use those for betting on race horses!!
And football teams.
Anyway no worries,I've got it working and amjust about to do a wet run on the Braumeister to nail down boil off rates etc. Then I will be stting up a new profile.
