Hi all,

I'm an Aussie from Brisbane, Queensland, and just getting back into brewing after doing a few kits many years ago. I'm sure it's not normal how excited I am to be starting again.

Enjoying looking through all the threads, and trying to learn as much as I can before my first BIAB in a week or two. Almost completed a 40L Crown Urn setup, fixed all the leaks from the added ball valve tap, thermowell, etc, and now just on the hunt for a good starter recipe. I'm sure it won't take much digging here to find a cracker.

Thanks for all the effort with the beginner BIAB threads. Hopefully I'll add something to the discussion once I've stopped procrastinating and actually get my first brew done!

Hi all,

Thought I'd introduce myself.

New to all grain, been doing beer kits for a short time, been doing wines for a longer time.

Big pot ordered, looking forward to filling it with grain.

Cheers

Welcome to the group. So fill your pot with grain and fill your belly with beer. You will have two pots after enough beer drinking!

Hey there,

I'm looking to put together a BIAB kit after doing an extract brew. Loads of info on this site, I'm still trying to decide between a pot or an urn and which size to go for. Can't wait to get started though.

I brew in North West Texas at the bottom of the Panhandle. Been brewing for about 15 years, mostly all grain. We have a home brew store and I have completed the World Brewing Academy through Siebel and Doeman's Academy. Many of the brewers in West Texas are now brewing in bags so I want to be able to direct them to good advice and learn more myself

Hey guys
I'm from Auckland, New Zealand.
I've been doing kit brews for around a year now, dabbling in dry hopping and specialty malts and have decided to step up my game and enter the world of BIAB.

Cheers

Hi all,

I'm from Kelowna BC Canada

I've only done about 6 brews. Just recently moved and finally got my Brew stuff back out.

I work for a craft brewery as a "beer educator" here in Kelowna. Tree Brewing.

Excited to learn from you all and share my experiences!

Cheers!

Hi All,

I'm from Kansas City, KS, and have been watching friends brew there own beer for a while now. They were doing well enough that I finally decided to get off the sideline and start brewing my own beer too. Got the brew kit and have been reading up on a lot of great information in this forum and elsewhere. Planning to start with some straight forward recipe kits for the first few batches to get the basics down and become familiar with my setup. Can't wait to get underway soon!

Hi All

I live in Indooroopilly, Brisbane. I have just started brewing in July this year, have already completed 3 brews, 2 kit and 1 extract. I have enjoyed what I have brewed so far. I have been listening to and watching Basic Brewing which is how I ended up here. Looking forward to having a go at BIAB.

Welcome to you all. I am a bit tardy in welcoming you all. I get confused and lazy when I am sobering up. Luckily that doesn't happen very often.
